We bought Voltas 1.5 Ton 183V IY 3 Star Inverter Split Air Conditioner on 21 April.
On technician visit, we found out that Split AC cannot be installed in our house as there were pillars everywhere and since it is a rented house, we could not drill through pillars.
We discussed the same with snapdeal,PLACED A RETURN REQUEST WITHIN 7 DAYS and they promised to pick up the product and give us a refund.
We waited for a week for the pickup but no one came.
When we called back after 10 days snapdeal says they can't refund the AC.
We then decided to install the AC on some other room and waited for the installation from Voltas.
We called Voltas several times for installation request to get the same answer"technician will visit you soon" but never did.
This delayed the installation for more than 20 days.
and then after a month when we installed it through third party services.
It worked for 8 hours and then AC STOPPED WORKING.
We called VOLTAS again, the technician came and detected that the PCB has burned out, he then asked us to call his office asking for replacement. So, when we called his office,the person at the other end said PCB is not available, currently and said since we bought the AC online from snapdeal he wont be able to provide replacement for the AC.
On notifying this to SNAPDEAL, they now say that the return period is over and they can't help us.
Now we have a dead AC with neither Snapdeal nor Voltas helping us.
